tonight is (currently) Nashville SongAssociation international first live meeting since the pandemic that will go down as the artist Log that fell in the road and postponed paused and halted so much momentum.
The visitors ,entertainers, singers, and guest arrive to listen and entertained in Greenville sc. For a lot of us this represents new momentum and hope for the return of momentum we once had before everything was shut down.
Today September 26 2022 presents new opportunities and networking for new a comer from Chicago, a singer who opened up with a soldier style song remembering the draft and a real life hero named Jonny walker who was called up for his service but never made it back making the ultimate sacrifice for his country, killed in action so we all can be free. Are not just a civics but also so that we can all be free to be musicians, artist, teachers, doctors, garbage men, and entertainers no matter your color in combination with genre.
what ever your work-ethic and determination can muster up for the aftermath of “ when I grow up I wanna be.”
More than a double dozen of folks showed for a physical count but millions were present within the many stories and songs and visuals that sit in our heads, hard drives and guitars waiting for us to be given more opportunity to bring life to melody and freedom to the groove of country that shares the table with blues and soul.
Country as I often say is the first cousin to blues and soul and the door to true unity and creation potential can be open.
Tonight I sang with a guest guitarist who I never sung with-in attempts to give freedom to creation once more and present the power that comes with live music verses tracked background
Tonight is a true country test of song perseverance to go from beginning to end with errors bloopers and but keep the crowd in on it..
this group represents the writers of Nashville music local to Greenville sc chapter by way of NSAI Nashville Song Writers International.
my plan is to cover the errors that are guaranteed to exist with alright by Darius Rucker.. as me and the guitar player have never played or entertained together.. first time meeting him today and explaining the process of traditional hip hop writing .. by simply directing him to Chris staple tons Tennessee whiskey.. which would no doubt slow the song waaaaaaaay down but were gonna let music and melody do there thing.
I don’t have and band yet and well I'm BBC Black Bold and Country enough to love everyone for there many differences and background but flat footed to double represent when I show up

The after math- of the performance
Defiantly ball-zy as the gentlemen accompany me on guitar said.. to sing a Darius Rucker song ac-capella and jump on stage with an artist I have never seen or met up until tonight..and perform an original
(written in hip hop mixtape format or style. this is a writing process foreign to mostly all country writers)
Its not my first time getting with a random musician and asking them to play the original music that I wrote to that already exist by another mainstream artist because they would be unfamiliar to the conversions made in Nashville to make the song composition original .. but hey.... that's the greatness of music.. right?
The goal.. or at least my personal goal is to be the melody and soul needed for both music and young kids of color to realize they can be free in their creation and live in both the grove of our cultural genetics having this gift of soul.. as well as engulfing themselves in the groove that does in fact exist in country music.. I was searching for it as a kid and I know todays kids are as well.
what are they searching for.. they are searching for .. reasons and people to pave the way to themselfs .. and you can be yourself BBC Black Bold and Country and love country music.
Sooooo.....after I came down the guitar player after me proves the point he has no idea I’m pointing out in this episode long deserved by music but only bold enough to be presented by Myself your continued host of Being BBC Black Bold and Country he raps or presents lyrics in such a fluid way that it shows a hip hop.. plus he pointed out that he wrote the segment of the song after listening to j Cole.. so tonight was a good night and a step in a proven direction ... that music is universal .. if not or if folks degree. they have to at least acknowledge that iin its intentions music aims to provide for the need of fulfilled emotion.
that's all for tonight show and this blog the audio and more video will come soon.. so yall stay tuned as I am waiting on release from the performers ..
Ill sign out for this blog the way I do radio by saying
