Short Bio

Rufus Barnette is a Nashville recording artist with a multi genre foundation in gospel, southern soul and Rhythm & Blues. Rufus is the only son of Rev. Rufus and Paula Barnette and the last born of four children. Rufus is an accomplished heavy machine operator,  security specialist and music entertainer. 
He is the father of one child Rufus S Barnette JR,  and shares a life of love with Tiffany. Rufus has been featured on TV, radio, and international stages. 
Rufus Prides himself on the humility that comes with "here to be herd in the truth of lyrics and life". Rufus is a member of the National Society of Pershing Rifles the oldest and most prestige honorary military fraternity in the combined United States Armed forces history.
Rufus graduated with a Bachelors of Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Rufus has returned to his home state of South Carolina where his family enjoys the isolation of the country and the security that comes with being in a rural area.
