Rufus is the known local "half breed country boy", down to earth singer, songwriter performer who prides himself on life's transparency in his lyrical content.
He approaches music "edit-less in his vocalized resolve" -"real talent and real performers who deserve the stage- we run off of raw talent, no smoke and mirrors from the sound board or addons to hide the battle between likes and shares vs. true talent. We must not rely on over the top technology or a modern social media gimmick to validate the roll we must play and responsibility we have to both music and our listeners regardless of the genre."
The boldness to approach creativity outside the constraints of being limited to one genre accompanied by a strong resolve, and intense determination over the years has propelled Rufus Barnette forward to this point in his career.
